Dr. Maurice A. Salama completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1985, where he received his BS in Biology. Dr. Salama received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he later received his dual specialty certification in Orthodontics and Periodontics, as well as implant training at the Branemark Center at Penn. He was awarded the George Coslet and Richard Chase Scholarships at the University of Pennsylvania during his post-doctoral studies. Dr. Salama is currently on the faculties of the University of Pennsylvania and the Medical College of Georgia as Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics.
Dr. Salama has completed an ADA accredited hospital-based General Practice Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. In 1988 he had the opportunity to further broaden his clinical horizons through externships at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. Dr. Edward Mills is an internationally recognized authority on dental implants and adult restorative dental treatment. Dr. Mills is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is a former president of the Southern District of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for the past five years. He was the 1998-1999 treasurer of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is the current secretary of the Academy.
Dr. Mills has lectured extensively throughout the United States and abroad on diagnostic, surgical, and restorative prosthetic techniques. He is the co-director of the Medical College of Georgia’s AAID Maxi-Course which is considered one of the most comprehensive continuing education programs in the world. Dr. Marcus Abboud graduated from the University of Bonn (Germany) in 1996 and started his Prosthodontic residency there in 1997. In 2000 he received his Doctorate in Prosthodontics. From 2001 - 2003 he worked in the Department of Dental Research (Material Science) at the University before joining the Oral Surgery Certificate Program in 2003. He successfully completed the program in 2007. Furthermore, he received his Expert Certification in CBCT Technology and Diagnostics in 2010 from the Dental Medical Association Nordrhein. Dr. Abboud has authored many publications, including research articles and book chapters. He has lectured extensively on CAD/CAM technology, digital dentistry, implantology, bone grafting, guided surgery and CBCT/CT diagnostic imaging. He has given many training courses on new technologies for implant treatment and has been involved in research for over 14 years. He has acted as a consultant for different manufacturers regarding new digital technologies and implantology. He holds many patents, being used in various countries, which provide new digital solutions for dentistry. Dr. Abboud joined the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine (NY, USA) in 2011 as the Founding Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics and Digital Technology. Dr. Stephen Chu received his doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1984 and his master’s degree in restorative dentistry and certificate in post-graduate Fixed Prosthodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1986. He subsequently obtained his dental technician certification in dental ceramics in 1996 and ASMDT status in 1998 at New York University College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry, Director of the Advanced CDE Program in Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, Associate Professor and Director of Esthetic Education at Columbia University and Prosthodontic Section Editor for PPAD [Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, Montage Media Corp.].
Dr. Chu maintains a private practice with Dr. Dennis Tarnow in New York City [New York Center for Specialized Dentistry] in aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. DAVID GARBER, DMD

Dr. David Garber has a dual appointment at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, in Augusta Georgia, as Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics, as well as Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. He is also on the faculty of Louisiana State University as Visiting Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Garber graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with post-doctoral training in both Periodontics and fixed Prosthodontics (periodontal prosthetics). Prior to his coming to Atlanta, he was Director of Crown and Bridge, and the Director of the Group Clinical Practice.
He lectures extensively on multi-disciplinary approaches to optimizing esthetics. The programs integrate restorative dentistry and periodontic implants in developing total dental-facial harmony. Dr. Michael A. Pikos is originally from Campbell, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He also graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Pikos completed an internship at Miami Valley Hospital and residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Montefiore Hospital.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and Diplomate of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Pikos is the recipient of the 2006 Aaron Gershkoff Memorial Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the following institutions: The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, and Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. DENNIS P. TARNOW, DDS

Dennis P. Tarnow is currently Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at Columbia School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tarnow has a certificate in Periodontics and Prosthodontics and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and Teacher of the Year Award from New York University. Dr. Tarnow has a private practice in New York City, and has been honored with a wing named after him at New York University College of Dentistry. He has published over one hundred articles on perio-prosthodontics and implant dentistry and has coauthored three textbooks including one in 2008 titled Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. HENRY SALAMA, DMD

Dr. Salama received his post-doctoral specialty certificates in both periodontics and periodontal-prosthesis, fixed prosthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the former director of the Implant Research Center, at the University of Pennsylvania, where he taught as a Clinical Assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics for over 20 years.
Dr. Salama is currently in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, and Linwood, New Jersey, limited to advanced restorative and implant therapy. His clinical research activities focus on long-term stability of esthetic soft tissue enhancement techniques, as well as immediate and early loading of root form implants. Read More
